Data collection in this research aims to determine the effect and how much influence of the problem based learning based ethnoscience towards science literacy skills at SDN Bringinbendo 2. This study used a quantitative approach to the experimental method of research one group pretest posttest. The sample in this study were fifth grade students at SDN Bringinbendo 2, which consisted of 21 students. Samples were taken using non-probability sampling. Data were analyzed using the paired sample t test and Eta Squared test. The results of the research hypothesis test paired sample t test, Sig. (2-tailed) ie 0.00 < 0.05 then, there is a significant effect (H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected). In addition, it can be seen how much the increase in the results of the eta squared test show an increase with a vulnerable score of t > 0.14 indicating that there is a large influence.
