Religious Tolerance in Sidoarjo Regency in Local Wisdom, Social Piety, and Communication Behavior

This study aims to find out how religious tolerance is especially in Sidoarjo Regency. This research uses a quantitative method and an explanatory approach. There are two analyzes used in this study, namely descriptive statistical analysis and analysis of the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model using the AMOS 22 program. The results of this study indicate that there is tolerance between religious communities in Sidoarjo Regency followed by the presence of local wisdom factors, whereby appreciating and respecting the customs practiced. The social piety that exists in society is shown by how much a person contributes to others based on the beliefs and beliefs held. Meanwhile, the existence of communication behavior can also affect the community in exercising tolerance, because the establishment of communication that takes place continuously results in a lot of information being obtained and there is a process of renewing everyone's thoughts which is impossible to avoid
