Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the story telling method on maharah al-kalam. This research uses pre-experimental design method with one group pre-test-post test design. This research instrument is a test, the initial research is done pre-test then treatment is done and the final activity is done posttest. The results showed an increase in the maximum score of students from 21 to 25. And obtained a significance value of 0.000<0.05 with a correlation value of 0.659 or 65.9%. And the results of the study show that the storytelling method is effective in increasing maharah al-kalam.
