Reading Aloud With Powtoon Video: Improving Primary School Students’ Pronunciation

The research examined the effectiveness of Powtoon videos as a teaching tool to enhance English pronunciation among 24 grade 6 students at a primary school in Pasuruan. Utilizing a quantitative pre-experimental design, the study aimed to assess the impact of reading aloud with Powtoon videos on students' pronunciation skills. The results indicated a significant improvement, with post-test scores being higher than pre-test scores. Statistical analysis showed a t-test result of -24.472 and a p-value of 0.000, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. This confirms that the use of Powtoon videos significantly influences students' pronunciation abilities.
