The purpose of this research is to find out how important the role of posyandu elderly cadres is in overcoming the problems of the elderly so that they can routinely attend posyandu elderly with healthy, happy, and support the health of the elderly. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach and applies a purposive sampling method to select informants, including the Head of the Arum Dalu Posyandu Cadre, the Arum Dalu Posyandu Cadre, and the Head of the Gelam Village PKK Team. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The role of Posyandu cadres in Gelam Village was measured using indicators of Regulator, Dynamizer, and Facilitator according to Arifin. The role of the Regulator is to provide direction and balance the implementation of development through the issuance of regulations owned by the village government in regulating and supervising various activities at the village level.
