Abstract

This research aims to determine students' conceptual understanding using a five-level test assisted by the Game Quizizz application. The research method used is quantitative. The research was carried out at SMPN 1 Candi with a total of 181 class VII students. The instrument used in this research was a five-level test with 30 questions. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the percentage of understanding concepts in students at the concept level of lack of knowledge is 11.65%, understanding concepts is 6.12%, misconceptions are 5.75%, cannot be concluded at 3.52%, do not understand concepts at 1.73%, and partial conceptual understanding of 1.21%, so it can be concluded that students' understanding is in the low category. So that later educators can use it to determine appropriate learning to improve students' understanding.
