Abstract

The purpose of this study to investigate students' viewpoints regarding the application of digital storytelling to the improvement of speaking and writing abilities. Technology is advancing so quickly that learning is now easier and more sophisticated in the educational process. Students from vocational high schools in the tenth grade participated in this study. A qualitative research methodology based on case studies was employed in this study. Information was gathered by means of student interviews, video analysis, and observation. The analysis of the results showed that the approach taken could improve students' writing and speaking abilities as well as their readiness for digital storytelling in the context of learning English.
