Abstract

This study explores the relationship between democratic parenting patterns, emotional maturity, and juvenile delinquency among Al-Islam High School students. The research focuses on three variables: democratic parenting (X1), emotional maturity (X2), and juvenile delinquency (Y). It employs a correlational quantitative approach with a sample of 289 students from a population of 1,035. Data was collected using psychological scales and documentation. The democratic parenting scale initially had 35 items, with 2 invalid, leaving 33 valid items and a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.943. The emotional maturity scale had 41 items, 18 of which were invalid, resulting in 23 valid items and a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.792. The juvenile delinquency scale started with 37 items, 17 of which were invalid, leaving 20 valid items with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.836.
