This research was conducted at a company operating in the pharmaceutical sector and distributing various types of medicines, one of which is simvastatin 20mg. In the production process, the company has problems in quality control, one of which is the increase in the number of defective products in the stripping packaging process by 1.9%. This research aims to analyze the types of defects in the quality of tablet drug stripping packaging and provide recommendations for improvements to the company. Data processing is carried out using the six sigma method to reduce material, energy and capital losses. With a step-by-step tool, namely DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Control), it can be seen that the factors causing product damage are caused by 5 factors, namely material, machine,
human, method and environment. So it is necessary to check, maintain and repair machines, train employees, monitor raw materials, record and weigh defective products.
