The purpose of this study is to know and describe the role of supervision in improving quality, and also to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the quality of education, as well as knowing how to overcome and how to solve the causes and consequences of obstacles in improving the quality of Islamic Education. . This research uses qualitative data analysis techniques including collecting data, reducing data, presenting data models, and drawing conclusions.Based on the results of observations of the role of supervision at SD Muhammadiyah 4 zamzam Sukodono that in the application of supervision as a strategy to improve the quality of education has been carried out by principals and leaders by carrying out twice a year, with this the quality of education quality has improved starting from the curriculum, the learning process, administration, services, to school construction.
