Teacher Creativity in Teaching Arabic Using a Direct Method Approach Based on Digital Learning Media

Abstract

The aim of this research is how creative teachers are in teaching Arabic using a direct method approach based on digital learning media at the elementary school level. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique in this research uses interactive analysis techniques with four stages, namely; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion, and data verification. The results of this research show that teacher creativity is: 1) the teacher can master the learning material, 2) can make learning plans, 3) can determine learning methods and media, 4) can combine game-based digital media and quizzes, 5) can design appropriate learning interesting, 6) able to make learning lively and interactive, 7) can utilize the school environment as a place for learning outside the classroom so that students do not get bored while studying.
