Abstract

Ide Bangun Mandiri has several obstacles production process, this will have a serious impact quality products produced. Based company data, there are 3 divisions production department that often experience defects. First, sewing division was 38.23%, injection was 33.17%, and finishing was 28.59%. This research uses SQC and FMECA methods to make it easier to analyze and identify potential product failures. As well as providing follow-up action on problems that occur. aim of this research is to determine the causes of defects during shoe production SQC method and the analysis stage using FMECA method. The results this research were that the sewing division with RPN value of 240 was production operator who was less careful, injection with RPN value of 252 cause of failure, namely machine maintenance was not done regularly, and finishing with an RPN value of 252 cause of namely the operator was negligent in his work.
