Abstract

Preeclampsia is the causes of maternal death with an unknown cause after 20 weeks of gestation. To reduce incidence of preeclampsia by giving calcium and aspirin as early as possible. The purpose of this study was to determine success of giving calcium and aspirin to pregnant who are at risk of preeclampsia and incidence of preeclampsia. This study used analytics with retrospective cohort approach. The samples used was all 143 pregnant. The research test used Chi- Square with significant level of α <0.05. Chi-square test results obtained p-value = 0.000 < α 0.05,there is relation of preeclampsia with the comsumption of calcium and aspirin. Pregnant who experienced preeclampsia, more likely happen to those who consumed calcium and aspirin (58.6%) compare to those who consumed calcium alone (27.1%). Pregnant who are at risk of preeclampsia and given calcium and aspirin can reduce incidence of preeclampsia with dose 3.8(OR: 3.8; 95%CI: 1.9-7.8)
