The phenomenon of insecurity often occurs among teenagers. Teenagers often feel inferior when there are people who are taller than them, feel worried when someone talks about their physical appearance. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the intensity of social media use and loneliness with insecurity in adolescents. This research is a type of quantitative correlational research. The variables in this research are intensity of social media use (X1), loneliness (X2) and insecurity (Y). This research was conducted at SMK Antarctica 2 Sidoarjo. The sample in this study was 305 teenage students taken using accidental sampling technique. Data analysis in this study used Linear Regression statistical analysis techniques. The research results show a p value of 0.001 < 0.05 so there is a significant relationship between the intensity of social media use and loneliness and insecurity in adolescents.
