Abstract

In the learning process in elementary schools, the lesson material delivered by teachers, students often only act as recipients of information in teaching and learning activities in elementary schools rather than actively participating in the thinking process. As a result, students are often too engrossed in what is happening at their desks, taking notes, listening to, or responding to the teacher's questions, and have little opportunity to actively gather and understand information. This has an impact on the level of student learning activity which is not optimal. This research was conducted to analyze the influence of the level of active learning participation using the Short Card model on students at SDN Kunjorowesi. This research uses the True Experimental method with a Posttest-Only Control Group research design. The population used in this research was class VI students using simple random sampling.
