Abstract

Education has a reach that transcends temporal and spatial boundaries, allowing access for anyone, anywhere, and at any time. The learning process is one of the crucial elements in achieving academic success, with reading being one of the main pillars among the four language skills. Therefore, successful early learning of reading is important to facilitate learners in reading accurately and fluently on simple words and sentences. However, many learners face challenges in the learning process, and one common learning difficulty is dyslexia, a condition that presents barriers in decoding written language and requires a specialized learning approach to help dyslexic learners overcome these obstacles. This study aims to identify early reading difficulties faced by dyslexic learners at the early elementary school level. In carrying out this research, a qualitative approach was used. Methodologically, data accrual comprises interviews, observational analyses, and literature synthesis.
