The low mathematical connection ability of students is influenced by their low knowledge in applying mathematics in everyday life, as well as the lack of understanding of concepts to solve mathematical problems. In order to reduce the low level of mathematical connections, it is necessary to develop a mathematics learning process that illustrates the relationship of concepts from the situation. This study aims to evaluate the level of students' mathematical connection ability by considering their self concept. This research used aqualitative approach. The data analysis used is descriptive method with data collection using evaluation instruments, in the form of test questions and non-test tests in the form of questionnaires. The subjects of this study involved 6 fifth grade students at SDN Sumput Sidoarjo.
