Abstract

One of the textbooks for studying Arabic is the book al-Iktisyaf. This book offers Matan explanation techniques from the perspective of nahwu and sarf. This research focuses on three things, namely: analysis Al-Iktisyaf book, analysis of nahwu learning based on the Inductive method (al-Tharîqah al-Istiqrâ'iyyah) by using the following points, namely: Muqoddimah, 'ardh, rabth, istinbath al-qoi'dah, and thatbiq, as well as Disadvantages and advantages of the Al-Iktisyaf book. This research produces a conclusion, namely, the Al-Iktisyaf book is in accordance with the method inductive in sequential ordering but not in functional learning. In learning, if refers to the learning flow with 5 basic points, namely Muqaddimah, presentation, association, Istinbathul Qoidah, rabt and tatbiq, then this is in line with the inductive method, except for tathbiq. Disadvantages of this book is the lack of Wadhifah Nahwiyyah. The advantage is that this book is example based or application.
