Understanding number symbols is very important so that children can understand the symbols of a number of objects they collect, symbols is also the basis of children's mathematical abilities, and to make it easier for children to understand mathematical operations at the next level of education.A number symbol is a symbol or sign that represents an abstract number and is used as a tool to show the size of a collection of objects, This is very different from the situation at the DWP KEPADANGAN II Kindergarten, out of 18 students, only 5 children can recognize number symbols correctly. The aim of this research is to improve students' ability to recognize number symbols. This research is classroom action research by carrying out an action so that there is development in terms of children's ability to recognize number symbols. The research results reached 88.43%. This research can be said to be successful.
