Abstract

This research aims to study the impact of using rice washing water on the growth and yield of purple eggplant, and determine the most appropriate dose to achieve optimal growth and yield of purple eggplant. The research was carried out on the grounds of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This research used the Randomized Block Design (RBD) method which consisted of one experimental factor and seven treatment levels and was repeated three times. Observation parameters are plant height, number of leaves, number of fruit, root length and weight of plant fruit. All quantitative data from observations is processed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) if there are significant or very significant differences followed by the tukey HSD test. The poc dose of rice washing water that produces the highest fruit weight is 300 ml and that produces the highest root length is 200 ml.
