Abstract

Students' belief in their ability to do something is an important factor that can influence students' behavior in school.  Utilizing a quantitative correlational research approach, the entire population of 177 students was included in the study using a saturated sample strategy, with the sample size determined through accidental sampling. Research instruments, which consisted of self-efficacy and learning motivation measurements, were adapted from prior studies and subjected to a retest to ensure both their validity and reliability. Analysis of the data was performed using the Pearson correlation product-moment technique, revealing a statistically significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and learning motivation (r=0.421, sig<0.001). Consequently, it can be deduced that heightened levels of self-efficacy in students correspond to increased learning motivation, and conversely, diminished self-efficacy is associated with reduced learning motivation. Novelty of this research is its purpose in which try to increase students learning motivation from self-efficacy perspective.
