Memorizing the Qur’an is a high religious achievement in the lives of Muslims, and elementary school (SD) is an important period for students to develop religious skills. However, memorizing the Al-Quran for students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati is not easy and is faced with various difficulties. This article aims to analyze the difficulties faced by Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati Elementary School students in memorizing the Al-Quran. This research used a qualitative approach and involved participants from SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati who were or had taken part in an Al-Quran memorization program. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with students, Al-Quran teachers, and students' parents, as well as questionnaires given to students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati. The research results show that the factors of difficulty in memorizing the Al-Quran among Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati Elementary School students include age, academic busyness, and family support.
