Academic procrastination is a phenomenon that is still frequently encountered in the field of education, especially at the secondary school level. This study aims to measure the relationship between academic procrastination and self-control. The research employs a quantitative correlational method. The population of this study consists of 2,255 students at Vocational High School 1 Krian, with a sample size of 327 students determined using the Krejcie-Morgan table and an accidental sampling technique. The measurement tools in this study are adopted from two psychological instruments: the self-control scale and academic procrastination, which were retested. The self-control measurement tool has a reliability of 0.823, while the academic procrastination measurement tool has a reliability of 0.935. The results of the study indicate a negative relationship between self-control and academic procrastination (r= -.189, sig= .001). This suggests that the higher the level of students' self-control, the lower their level of academic procrastination.
