Resepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Instagram Local Brand

Abstract

Fashion trends like today are starting to penetrate among young people. Nowadays fashion is not only centered on the style of clothing anymore but depends on the style worn head to toe. The purpose of this survey is to measure how the general public receives about Instagram local brands Prior.id and Flickabags. This research was conducted because there is still a tendency for Sidoarjo people to prefer foreign brands over local brands. The researcher presented this research with Stuart Hall's reception theory as well as the new media theory. While the sample of 173 respondents, this study used quantitative methods and random sampling procedures. Data collection was accomplished by sending surveys to local brand Instagram followers, and data computations were made with the use of a simple liner regression analysis using the SPSS ver20 program.
