Abstract

Pandawara Group is an environmental activist group concerned with waste problems in Indonesia, more specifically in the Bandung area. Through social media, the Pandawara Group's TikTok can convey messages and invitations in the form of video content packaged with persuasive communication strategies. This study aims to identify persuasive communication techniques used through qualitative content analysis by collecting data in the form of observations of video content on the Pandawara Group TikTok account. The results of this study indicate that the techniques used in each video vary widely, such as association, integration, order, and reward techniques, while the use of the Red-Herring Technique is used in the feedback category to give confidence to the credibility of the Pandawara Group.
