Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and self-regulation with the fear of being left behind in emerging adults who use social media in Sidoarjo. This research uses quantitative methods with correlational descriptive arrangements. The research sample was 385 young adult respondents in Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with accidental sampling. Utilization of research analysis data in the form of Spearman's rho correlation and multiple correlation assisted by SPSS for windows 25.0 version. The results of the study stated that there was no simultaneous relationship between self-regulation and self-esteem with Fear of Missing Out in the age of emerging adults using social media.
