Abstract

study aims explore the degree attitude towards STEM and examine relationship between STEM dimensions in Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo Junior High School. Research used descriptive quantitative research survey method. Research conducted Muhammadiyah junior high schools Sidoarjo that have implemented STEM-based science learning, namely Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo,Muhammadiyah 4 Porong, Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan,Muhammadiyah 6 Krian and Muhammadiyah 1 Taman. Samples in study amounted to 85 students taken from a population of 326 students. Research instrument consists a questionnaire to explore the degree students' attitudes towards STEM and relationship between STEM dimensions. Data analysis used mean and standard deviation explore the degree attitude towards STEM, person product moment correlation measure the correlation between STEM dimensions. Results showed students' attitudes towards STEM were most dominant integrated STEM dimension and lowest mathematics dimension. correlation between STEM dimensions and STEM itself is not entirely correlated, such as technology and engineering dimension does not correlate with the mathematics dimension.
