Learning Cooking Class in Improving Children’s Fine Motor Skills

The fact is that kindergarten teachers are still not optimal in providing activities that can stimulate the wrists and eyes in the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years. This study aims to find out how the implementation of learning cooking class in developing children's fine motor skills. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews with class A teachers and accompanying teachers, and documentation during learning. The results of research on the cooking class are that children can train their fine motor skills well, for example, such as making sandwiches in a unique way, coloring fruit neatly and without streaks outside the lines. Cooking class learning can be an effective, fun and interactive method of developing fine motor skills in early childhood. The role of teachers and parental support in providing materials and tools can help create an environment that supports children's learning.
