Abstract

The ability to read the beginning will be used as a reference in achieving the goal of the child when the teacher judges, so it is necessary to learn interesting and enjoyable with the use of various media for early childhood in KB Amanah Sidoarjo. The research method of class action is focused on improving the learning activities in the classroom, looking for an answer to the problems that have been raised. The data used in this study are qualitative data and quantitative data. After performing the reading ability action with the PowerPoint Interactive Media in Cycles I and II that the Interactive PowerPoint Media is able to improve a child’s reading ability based on the criteria of Growing According to Expectations (BSH) and Growing Very Well (BSB). Overall, the results of the observations in the study showed results that matched expectations, in which there was a rather significant improvement.
