Abstract

This study aims to improve fine motor skills through finger painting activities in children aged 5-6 years at Ittihadul Ummah Ngoro Kindergarten. This research is a classroom action research. The subject of this study was group B which consisted of 20 students at Ittihadul Ummah Ngoro Kindergarten. This data collection was carried out using the method of observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were RPPH sheets (Daily Learning Implementation Plans) and fine motor skills assessment sheets. The results showed that the children's fine motor skills increased with finger painting activities in group B at Ittihadul Ummah Ngoro Kindergarten, this was evident from the results of the research showing an increase in children's fine motor skills with an average achievement of children in Cycle I 61% with MB criteria and in Cycle II reached 78% with BSB criteria. So the child's fine motor skills increased in Cycle II.
