PT. Romi Violeta is a furniture company in Indonesia specializing in rattan and wood products, offering its products to the world market. Observations show that companies often experience defects, so companies need to reduce the level of defects in their production processes. Based on this, it is necessary to identify problems in every defect that occurs in the production process. By using the Seven Tools approach, you can identify the types of product defects that are produced in each production and find out the root causes that cause product defects. To assist the Seven Tools approach to the proposed corrective actions, the 5W+1H method will be used.. The root of the problem that causes defects to occur is caused by man, material, machine, method, and environment factors and the proposed corrective actions are carried out in order to minimize the occurrence of defects.
