PT. RC is a company located in one of the Pasuruan regency areas engaged in shoe production. Shoe products produced around 400 thousand pairs. However, in reality there are still products that have defective quality or have not met existing quality standards, one of which is in the outsole product. Thus the quality control of shoe outsole production applied by PT. RC is still not optimal so that analysis must be carried out on quality control efforts implemented by PT. RC. Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fault Tree analysis (FTA) methods were used in an effort to minimize these defective products. Statistical Process Control (SPC) is the application of statistical techniques to control various processes and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is used to identify work process flows on the company's production floor. The most dominant types of defects in outsole products are defective types lacking material, color difference, and gross.
