The turi plant (Sesbania grandiflora (L.) Pers.) is a plant belonging to the Fabeceae family. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of acute toxicity of white turi flower extract (Sesbania grandiflora (L.) Pers.) on the kidneys of male white rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain. In this study, it was divided into 5 treatment groups, namely the Knormal, P1, P2, and P3 groups. The acute toxicity test performed included observation of toxic symptoms, macroscopic examination of the kidneys, and observation of BUN and creatinine levels. The apparent LD50 results were obtained at a dose of 20,000 mg/kg BW. In the SPSS test with SPSS IBM 24, the results obtained were normally distributed and homogeneous in BUN with the results of the one way ANOVA test. Whereas the creatinine test results were normal but not homogeneous and the one way ANOVA test had an effect.
