Abstract

Pear growers sort out the fruit so that it can be consumed and sold in the highest quality. Therefore, automatic sorters were created to make it easier for farmers to sort pears. The harvested fruit is collected and the fruit will come out onto the conveyor. The TCS-3200 sensor is placed on the conveyor so that it can detect pears. The result of the sorting door servo if the fruit is declared fresh then the servo remains closed straight so that the fruit will go to the front container, and vice versa the fruit is declared rotten then the servo will open upwards so that the fruit will go down. At the conveyor end is an IR sensor used to send signals to the servo motor. It is hoped that this research can help and facilitate farmers in harvesting fruit on a large scale and efficiently in time and energy.
