This study is an experimental research using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The aim was to determine whether the Project Citizen model could improve the critical thinking of 5th-grade students at SDN Tampung 1. A sample of 35 students was used. The N-Gain test results showed that the minimum value was 0.06 and the maximum value was 0.68, indicating that the N-Gain criteria of 0.3 ≤ g < 0.7, categorizing the improvement as moderate. The average score for critical thinking in the pretest was 32.46, categorized as "poor", and in the posttest, increased to 56.3, categorized as "fair". The normality test of the data indicated that was normally distributed, with a significance value of 0.200 > 0.05. The results of the t-test was showed that the significance value 0,000 < 0,05. This means that there was a significant improvement in students' critical thinking abilities after the implementation of Project Citizen Learning.
