Abstract

Low student interest in learning and an uncomfortable and less meaningful learning atmosphere can affect student learning interest. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of video-based interactive media on the learning interest of elementary school students. This study uses a type of quantitative research with an experimental design (Posttest Only Control Design). The population used included 52 Class V students at SDN Jimbaran Kulon. Data collection techniques were questionnaires, observation and documentation. The analysis technique used is the t-test (t-test). The results of data analysis showed a significant value greater than 0.05 and a significance value of the t test of 0.000, which means ≤ 0.05. It can be concluded that interactive media has an impact on interest in learning science for fifth grade students at SD Negeri Jimbaran Kulon.
