Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using photovoice media on the writing skills of grade 3 elementary school students. The implementation of this research used an experimental research method with a One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The research sample was taken using saturated sampling with a total sample of 20 students in grade 3 of SDN Krembung 1. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation as initial information, writing skills test (pretest and posttest), and documentation results of research activities. The data was tasted with a normality test, because the data obtained was normally distributed, the Paired Sample T-Test was conducted. The results of the paired sample t-test are known to have the Sig Value. (2-tailed) is 0,000 < 0,05. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use photovoice media on the writing skills of grade 3 students of SDN Krembung 1.
