The Influence of Audio Visual Media on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes in Grade 5 Elementary Schools

Abstract

The population of this research was the 5 grade students , which consisted of 29 students, the entire population is used as a sample, the saturated sampling technique is used. Data analysis used is descriptive statistics, normality test, hypothesis testing (paired t-test), simple linear regression analysis test. The results showed that the learning outcomes of the fifth grade students  Indonesian showed different pre-test and post-test scores, with an average pre-test score of 51.55 while an average post-test score of 88.45. after that, to test the hypothesis there is a value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05 means that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes before and after the test, so that the use of audiovisual media has an impact on learning outcomes. In addition, by testing simple linear regression analysis, the value of Sig. audiovisual  becomes 0.004 <0.05, meaning that audiovisual influences the learning outcomes of grade 5.
