Job enlargement is described as horizontal job loading which is the act of assigning additional tasks to employees within the spectrum of their work and increasing the activities carried out. Considering the prevailing laws and regulations, the application of working time needs to be balanced with the proper division of labor so that the application of job enlargement can be effective without additional working time. This research is a qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Samples were taken deliberately, namely purposive sampling technique with sequential sampling, using the "snowball sampling" technique. Through an interactive data analysis model, researchers use three components: data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions (verification). In the job enlargement strategy carried out in the housekeeping department it can be said to be successful because it was able to make a scheme become three jobs with one person.
