Abstract

Employees are very important human resources in supporting company activities. Subjective well-being in employees will affect many things, such as improving physical health, levels of creativity and problem solving, increasing employee participation in the workplace. This study aims to determine the relationship between Problem focused coping and Subjective well-being of employees. The hypothesis that researchers propose is that there is a positive relationship between Problem focused coping and Subjective well-being in employees. The population in this study amounted to 118 employees, where the sampling technique used was the Saturated Sampling Technique. Data collection techniques in this study used psychological scales with Likert scaling models. The data analysis technique was carried out using the product moment correlation method.  The results of this study showed a highly significant positive correlation (rxy = 0.413; p<0.05). This shows that the higher the problem-focused coping, the higher the subjective well-being of employees, and vice versa.
