This study aims to examine the influence of the implementation of Malang Mask Puppet Dance (Tari Wayang Topeng Malangan) on the social-emotional competence of students at SDN Kebakalan. The research method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 29 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through validated graded multiple-choice and essay instruments. The data analysis was conducted descriptively by comparing the pretest and posttest results. The results showed an increase in the students' average social-emotional competence score from 67.03 in the pretest to 76.10 in the posttest, with a total increase of 9.07 points. Based on this increase, it can be concluded that the use of Malang Mask Puppet Dance has a positive influence on improving the social-emotional competence of elementary school students.
