Abstract

This study examines the influence of Islamic financial literacy, consumer behavior on the interest using paylater services among Generation Z, focus on college students in Sidoarjo Regency. Research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Primary data were obtained through question distributed to Generation Z students who have used or are familiar with paylater services. Purposive sampling was apply respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of statistical software. Findings show that Islamic financial literacy has a negative and significant effect on interest in using paylater services, while consumer behavior has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence students interest in paylater usage. Results indicate that limited understanding of Islamic finance and high consumer behavior contribute to increased interest in paylater services among students. Therefore, strengthening Islamic financial literacy essential to promote more prudent and responsible financial behavior among Generation Z
