This study aims to examine the relationship between parental attachment and peer attachment with emotion regulation in adolescents. This study uses a non-experimental quantitative approach with a correlational design. The study population consisted of 949 students at SMK PGRI1 Sidoarjo, with a sample of 255 students selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) with a reliability coefficient of 0.903, the Parent Attachment Scale (IPPA) with a reliability of 0.871, and the Peer Attachment Scale (IPPA-R) with a reliability of 0.903. Data analysis was performed using Pearson's correlation. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between parental attachment and emotion regulation (r = 0.694; p < 0.01). Peer attachment was also positively and significantly related to emotion regulation (r = 0.669; p < 0.01). These findings indicate that stronger bonds with parents and peers are associated with better emotional regulation abilities among adolescents.
