Implementasi Kepemimpinan Transformasional Kepala Madrasah dalam Mewujudkan Budaya Mutu di Madrasah Aliyah Sidoarjo

This research analyzes the implementation of principals' transformational leadership in realizing quality culture at Madrasah Aliyah Sidoarjo. The complexity of madrasah education quality challenges requires a holistic and adaptive leadership paradigm to create a sustainable quality learning ecosystem. The study employs a quantitative explanatory survey approach with correlational design involving 124 respondents from three Madrasah Aliyah using Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) instruments and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Results indicate transformational leadership is implemented through integration of four dimensions: idealized influence in discipline-spirituality modeling, inspirational motivation through multi-channel vision communication, intellectual stimulation via tiered academic supervision, and individualized consideration in multidimensional reward systems. Quality culture manifests in collaborative leadership, continuous improvement, and organizational accountability, evidenced by MA Darul Ulum Waru's achievement of 359 Japanese language competition trophies over 16 years. Systemic interconnection analysis confirms quality culture represents synergy between internal factors (leadership competence, teacher professionalism, management systems) and external factors (institutional competition, government support, community trust). The research recommends holistic transformational leadership implementation, consistent achievement-based program development, and strengthening alumni networks for institutional sustainability.
