Parental divorce leaves a deep psychological impact on children, especially in early adulthood which is full of transitions and emotional challenges. This study aims to determine the effect of forgiveness and self-acceptance on subjective well-being in early adults who experience parental divorce in Sidoarjo Regency. The research method used a correlational quantitative approach with purposive sampling technique, involving 384 respondents aged 18-25 years. The research instruments include scales of forgiveness, self-acceptance, and subjective well-being that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted with multiple linear regression and Pearson correlation using JASP. The results of the study are expected to provide an empirical picture that internal factors such as forgiveness and self-acceptance have an important role in maintaining the subjective well-being of individuals affected by parental divorce. These findings are expected to be the basis for psychological interventions based on strengthening self-control.
