The Influence of Human Resource Quality, Teamwork, and Organizational Commitment in Improving the Performance of Student Organizations in the Faculty Level Student Executive Board of Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of human resource quality, teamwork, and organizational commitment on the organizational performance of the Faculty Student Executive Board at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. A quantitative research approach was employed. The research population consisted of all members of the Faculty Student Executive Board, with respondents selected using purposive random sampling. Primary data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS version 25 through descriptive analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and multiple linear regression to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that human resource quality, teamwork, and organizational commitment have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings demonstrate that improving organizational performance is not solely determined by individual capabilities, but also by effective teamwork and strong organizational commitment among members in carrying out their duties, responsibilities, and organizational roles within student organizational management practices and governance.
