Abstract

Students experience various challenges that can negatively affect their emotions and learning. This makes emotional regulation crucial, as it impacts students' interest in learning. The study aims to explore the link between emotional regulation and learning interest at Kemala Bhayangkari 7 Porong Junior High School. It identifies emotional regulation as a significant barrier to achieving academic success. Using a correlational quantitative research method, the study involved a survey with 167 student participants who filled out questionnaires. The findings revealed a strong positive correlation between emotional regulation and learning interest, indicating that better emotional regulation leads to increased learning interest. Students with good emotional regulation skills can identify what enhances their learning interest and address any challenges they face.
