The Correlation between Religiosity and Self-Awareness with the Bystander Effect among Residents of Apartment Complex X

This study aims to measure the influence of religiosity and self-awareness on bystander effect behavior among residents of Rusun X. The total population of Rusun X residents is 600 people, and a sample of 242 participants was taken. Accidental sampling tehnique was employed with margin of error 5% from Krejcie and Morgan table, then linear regression was used to analyzed data Three measurement scales were employed in this study: the religiosity scale (reliability coefficient = 0.806), the self-awareness scale (reliability coefficient = 0.827), and the bystander effect scale (reliability coefficient = 0.854). The results showed that religiosity and self-awareness significantly influence the bystander effect (F = 36.68, p < .001). This indicates that an individual's religiosity and self-awareness can serve as influential variables affecting bystander effect behavior
