Effect of Phospicious Fertilizer and Biovibio Fertilizer on the Growth of Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.)

This study aimed to evaluate the response of phosphate fertilizer (P) and biofertilizer Provibio on the growth of chili pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L.). The experiment was arranged in a randomized block design with two factors, namely phosphate fertilizer doses (P1, P2, P3) and Provibio biofertilizer applications (Z1, Z2, Z3). The results showed that phosphate fertilizer treatments significantly affected plant height at 21–42 days after transplanting (DAT), with P2 producing the tallest plants (61.11 cm) compared to other treatments. Provibio biofertilizer significantly affected early growth (14 DAT), where Z2 resulted in taller plants (22.61 cm) than Z1 and Z3. For the number of leaves and plant height at later stages (35–49 DAT), neither phosphate fertilizer nor Provibio had a significant effect, although there was a tendency for P3, Z2, and Z3 to support better growth compared to other treatments.
