Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Augmented Reality on improving a early reading on first grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. Population in this study were all first-grade students of SDN Gelam 1 Candi. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire using a Likert scale given through the pretest and posttest. From the research results, it is known that the results of the t-test that have been carried out with the SPSS program are obtained at a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00, which means less than 0.05. So, seen from the basis of t test decision making, namely if the significant value (2-tailed) is less than 0.05, then is accepted, which means that there is an effect on Augmented Reality on increasing the reading beginning of first grade elementary school students.
